For an introverted, socially awkward, book-addicted, space-headed writer who barely leaves the house . . . I'm actually pretty easy to find. I'm active (more or less) on the following platforms, and if you want to get to know me a little better, I post reels and shorts to Insta, Facebook, and YouTube every Tuesday and Friday.

Instagram is my blog that's not a blog, my fortress of solitude, my shadow gallery, my Shangri-la, my batcave if Batman read books instead of punching the mentally ill . . . okay, so it's just an Instagram page. But it's where I invest most of my limited social media energies. I post about books, movies, and writing, so be sure to follow me for updates and recommendations, if that's what you're into. I also post reels every Tuesday and Friday, which I'm told are entertaining.

There you'll find news, announcements, and updates pertaining to signings and events, as well as giveaways and other fun, sexy things. My promotional reels are also available there, so be sure to give them a like, a follow, a subscribe, a comment, a share . . . anything helps, really. I don't have as much fun on Facebook as I do on Insta, but if you're not on the Internet's greatest thirst-trap, you can follow me there for all the same news, events, as well as photos from signings and other neat stuff too.

Yes, I have a YouTube channel, because who doesn't these days? A wise man once told me, "If you want to succeed in this business, kid, you've got to put yourself out there and not be afraid of how people perceive you." The fact that he was later arrested for armed robbery doesn't diminish his advice. Enhances it, if anything. Anyway, check me out at @jrdhreads for promotional shorts, posted every Tuesday and Friday, as well as readings from my work, when I'm feeling up to it.

And least but not last, my newsletter. Oh great, you say, this clown's got a newsletter. Darn rights, I do! My newsletter is your one stop space shop for exclusive freebies like new short stories and news of upcoming events. In 2024, I released three tie-in short stories exclusively through my newsletter, which were very well received. Sign up below and be the first in line for more free space junk down the road. It's okay -- I only release one a month. I don't have the time or energy to spam you. Newsletters go out on the 1st of each month, so you've got until the 30th and sometimes the 31st to put your name down (we don't discuss February around here . . .)
